Dimensions, material choice and acceptance criteria belong in the same enquiry. These concise guides help engineering and purchasing teams prepare a specification without assuming that a standard size is available from stock.
Request a quoteSpecify inside diameter and cross-section with units and tolerances, then include the mating groove. A size table identifies a geometry; it does not by itself validate an application or mean that the part is in stock.

Compare NBR, FKM/FPM, silicone and EPDM against the actual fluid, temperature and movement. A polymer family or colour cannot identify a compound's complete performance or its regulatory status.

An outside diameter is not enough to identify a replacement. Supply the shaft diameter, housing bore, seal width and profile, together with the operating conditions and any marking on the original part.

Keep quotation, sample approval and purchase order tied to the same drawing revision. Send the expected batch quantity and destination; request any certificates or inspection records before the quotation is finalised.
